FAQ: The No Bloat Goat

green juice no bloat goat

WOW! More than 8 million views on Instagram and more than half a million views on TikTok. The No Bloat Goat is a simple part of my everyday life that I shared with the world and the world loved it. It has been such an amazing feeling to know how well this has resonated with individuals worldwide. This juice has been my everyday go-to for so many reasons, but where I’ve seen the most benefits is anti-bloating.

I’ve decided to write up this blog post to answer the many questions that everyone has about the social media famous “No Bloat Goat.” Before I get into the fine nuances of this drink I want to address one major point: what works for me, will not work for everyone else. However, many have seen the same results by drinking this juice daily. I’m sorry if you do not think it’s good. I suggest adding more fresh squeezed lemon juice immediately before drinking it and I personally prefer drinking it when it is served ice cold.

RECIPE

This recipe yields (for me) 6, 16oz juices!

1 bunch of celery

2 cucumber (large)

2-3 handfuls of spinach

2-3 handfuls of kale

2 honey crisp (or green) apples

Juice from 2-3 lemons

One small piece of ginger

1-2 L of coconut water

FAQ

Please go through all of the questions. I truly did my best to address most questions from Instagram and TikTok!

Does it actually taste good? This is subjective, but yes. If yours tastes a lot like veggies, add more apple and add lemon juice immediately before drinking the No Bloat Goat – as if you are adding lemon to water.

Can I drink it as a smoothie? Will it have the same benefits? Yes, you can drink it as a smoothie and it will have the same benefits, if not better. Juicing removes a bulk of fiber so the more fiber you can contain, the better. While I love smoothies, I prefer this as a juice and do not care for juices with the pulp.

What if I’m allergic to coconut water? I recommend using regular water. Whether it be alkaline water or spring water, that is completely up to you. I recommend staying away from juices because it decreases the hydrating element of the drink and increases the amount of sugar you intake thus limiting the impact it has on bloat.

How long does it last in the fridge? 6-7 days!

How often do you drink it? I drink one every single day, except for when I don’t (haha). I typically try to drink one every day!

Is there a specific time of day you should drink it? It’s best in the morning on an empty stomach. However, you’ll reap the benefits regardless of when you drink it.

I drank the No Bloat Goat and it made me pass gas a lot. Is this normal? This is absolutely normal. Passing gas is your body’s way of telling you that your digestive tract is on the up and up. Releasing that gas is helping you get rid of the bloat and is a normal process of digestion.

Do you throw the pulp away? Yes, I do. However, my friends on TikTok told me that it can be frozen and put into smoothies so that’s been my process moving forward.

Do you use regular-size cucumbers or mini? Regular size for the recipe listed above.

Where do I buy a cheesecloth? Cheesecloth can be purchased in the kitchen utensils section of most department stores! You can also purchase them on Amazon, which is my preferred way to buy them.

If I have a juicer, can I make this without coconut water? Absolutely! This recipe can be made with a juicer and without coconut water.

What do you use to wash/clean your veggies? I use Dr. Bronner’s Unscented Castile Soap.

I thought you weren’t supposed to mix fruits and veggies? This is a new phenomenon that I am hearing of and am not familiar with this. It may be the case, but this still works for me. If you are concerned about this, do not make the No Bloat Goat.

What coconut water do you use? I use VitaCoco most.

Is this a good drink for weight loss? Don’t fight me when I say this, but the best thing for weight loss is consistent exercise and healthy eating. It doesn’t have to be extreme, just consistent. There is no one food or drink that will solely help you lose weight if everything else doesn’t align.

Can I drink this while pregnant? Please consult your physician. I cannot and will not advise on this matter.

Does it work without the kale? Yes, add more spinach or cucumber.
