LUVME HEADBAND WIG REVIEW

Hey ladies! I’ve gotten the chance to leave an unprocessed review about LUVME HAIR and I’m super excited to put y’all on game. When they reached out to me I was a bit hesitant because I had never tried a headband wig before and their prices were surprisingly affordable. Immediately I was like, “is this a red flag?” but decided to give it a try anyway.

They reached out to me about doing a sponsored campaign with the hopes to help the girls understand how game-changing these headband wigs are. With that being said, although this is a sponsored post, all thoughts and opinions are my own. In other words, they are unprocessed!

The Nitty Gritty

My package arrived via DHL and if you know DHL like I know DHL they make sure to get you your package. The package came within 2-3 days and the LUVME HAIR packaging was so cute! Upon opening the box, I received

There was a strong stench when opening the box, but not unbearable. I don’t know how to exactly describe it besides describing it as a “warehouse odor.” The good news is that the odor came from the box and not the wig itself.

The Actual Headband Wig

Getting more into the details about the headband wig. I ordered the Wet and Wavy Headband Wig. This hair can be wettened to achieve a curly look or straightened. The color was natural black and it came with 5 headbands. What I love about the headband wig concept is that it is perfect for beginners who have no experience installing and styling wigs. It is also perfect for lazy days when you just don’t feel like doing anything to your hair. It’s also perfect for in-between hairstyles when you still want to give “material girl,” but with bare minimum effort. The hair is 100% virgin hair from one donor (yasssss!!) and there’s no lace involved.

My Personal Opinion

When I pulled the wig out of the box, I was super impressed with how soft the hair was and how pretty the curls were. I fluffed it out a bit and began preparing my head to receive the wig. I was being lazy so I didn’t even braid down my hair. Instead, I put it in a tight, low ponytail and then threw a wig cap over it by bringing my ponytail into the cap but laying the hair flat against my head (I hope that makes sense). Once the wig cap was on, I literally just put the wig on. I tightened the cap a bit (which is self-explanatory and easy to do) and was done.

Although the hair had shed, it was very minimal. The hair takes well to water/mousse to enhance the curls. I straightened the hair (off-camera) and it also did not damage or shed more with the heat being applied. The funny thing is, I wore the headband wig as it comes for a while and then thought, “maybe I should throw on a headband, haha. I also want to point out that one of my closest friends has this headband wig from LUVME and she loves it! She’s had it for a while now and it’s holding her down.

Overall Review

When it comes to a headband wig, I need it in my back pocket. I’m shocked this is my first one, but I can guarantee you it won’t be my last. I also love how affordable the headband wig is from LUVME given the amazing quality of the product. Ladies, I highly recommend it. Even if you don’t need it now, you’ll be glad you have it when you are in-between hairstyles or are running late for work one day and just want to “throw on a wig.” I’d love to hear how you like your headband wig when you order it. Come check back in and let me know what’s up!!
